This is a review of the Ckin Pet Electric Pet Nail Trimmer with 2 LED Lights, 3-Speed Pet Nail Grinder for Dogs & Cats, Rechargeable 2000mAh Nail Grinder for Small Medium Large Dogs with Light, WhiteAs a long time dog breeder and pet owner, I’ve run through the whole gamut of nail clippers and grinders. Many are too aggressive, too quickly dulled or painfully inefficient. I’ve found battery powered grinders to give the best results, but often found disposable battery units to be too loud or high pitched to keep a dog calm during a potentially stressful, albeit necessary, grooming task. When my 6 year old sandpaper cylinder bit style grinder died, I opted for this sturdy diamond grinding bit trimmer for my new puppies. It’s proven to be durable, highly efficient and comfortable to use. More importantly, my pups respond very well to it, so nail care has been a breeze, even fun, and painless. Two thumbs up, and 5 stars all the way:* Its compact size and balanced weight let it fit comfortably in my hand without causing fatigue or restricting needed maneuverability and precision. It’s built-in, rechargeable 2000mAh battery fully charges in an about 2.5 hrs, and gives me nearly 3 hours of continuous grinding time. However, I’ve found it especially however useful for illuminating paw surfaces and between the toes where burrs, grass seed and thorns can hide.
