LED Glow Dog Leash — Reflective Safety Leash for Night Walks

Be seen on every night walk — before a car ever gets close.
Most dog leads are invisible in the dark. Drivers see a person — but not the dog walking beside them at knee height, in their blind spot. This LED glow leash solves that entirely. The full-length reflective nylon catches headlights from up to 500 feet away, and the built-in LED strip makes you and your dog a visible, moving signal that no driver can miss. Night walks go from anxious to confident the moment you clip it on.
| Full-Length LED Strip | Illuminates the entire leash length — not just a single point — so your dog is visible from every angle |
| 500ft Reflective Nylon | High-visibility reflective weave catches headlights from a car length before it reaches you |
| Multiple Colour Options | Black, pink and blue — select your colour and size from the options above |
| Sizes XS through Large | Suitable for small dogs through large breeds — select the right size for your dog's weight range |
| Sturdy Metal Clip | Heavy-duty clasp that locks securely onto any standard collar or harness D-ring |
Why night visibility matters more than most owners realise
A dog walking at knee height is in the exact zone that car headlights miss on unlit roads. Reflective gear for the owner does not protect the dog — it needs to be on the leash itself. This is the single most effective safety upgrade for any dog that walks after dark, and it costs less than a single vet visit.

The differentiating feature of this collar is advertised as USB-C charging. Unfortunately, that claim is misleading. When the box arrived, it stated: “Use cord provided.” That immediately signals that this is not a standards-compliant USB-C implementation, rather it's "Faux USB C".We paid roughly $10 more (almost 2× the price) specifically to simplify our lives—to be able to charge this device using the same USB-C chargers and cables we already use for phones and other modern devices.True USB-C charging is not just a connector shape. Proper USB-C implementations include communication between the device and the charger (via CC pins and, in many cases, cable e-markers) so that voltage and current are safely negotiated. That is the entire point of USB-C as a standard. This collar does not implement that behavior. Instead, it uses the physical shape of a USB-C connector while electrically behaving like a legacy USB-A, fixed 5 V device. The manufacturer therefore instructs users to charge it only with a USB-A → USB-C cable, because USB-A implicitly limits power and avoids negotiation entirely = Faux USB-C.The product creates a new failure mode. A well-meaning usercould reasonably plug this into a normal USB-C charger with a USB-C-to-USB-C cable—exactly what the connector suggests is correct—and remove an important safety backstop that the USB-C standard was designed to provide.Rather than simplifying charging, this design adds complexity:• a dedicated cable,• a dedicated charger,• and “folklore” knowledge about what not to plug it into (dog walkers, visiting family members, etc.).That is the opposite of what USB-C is supposed to accomplish. The standards committee and engineers who designed USB-C put significant thought into preventing exactly this kind of ambiguity. Using the connector without implementing the standard undermines those safeguards. The good news: LED dog collars are inexpensive. The bad news: in a price-competitive market like this, micro-USB is actually the safer and more honest choice in 2026 if full USB-C compliance is not implemented. My hope is that marketplaces and manufacturers become more precise in how they label USB-C compatibility. If a product is not safe to charge with a standard USB-C charger and cable, it should not be marketed as USB-C—because that removes a critical safety net the standard was designed to provide. I am not an engineer and have no friends or contacts involved in setting USB standards or involved with products that use the standards. I would like fewer connectors in my life, though.
I am actually impressed so far with this collar. It's nice and thick. Looks good on my medium size dog's neck. The light is very bright. More so than I expected it. This makes me feel safe walking outside with my dog at night. No way a car will miss this light. As long as this LED light continues to work, I am very happy with this purchase.
This is a great product. It's bright, the rechargeable part is fantastic. We use it at night and we don't have to charge it but every few weeks or so, unless the dogs turn it on and we don't notice. It seems bulky at first, but it's really not. We have a different color for each dog and you can easily identify each dog from far away. They work great!
I bought two of these for my black lab and my Cattle dog. Both dogs are hard to see at night. I have been using the collar for walking and for my yard. In the dark places of my yard I cannot see my dogs. With the collar I know exactly where they are and where their head is (Lab trying to eat poopsicles)3 settings Push a button the collar blinks, 2nd it flashes in a circle, third it’s a solid color. I got the green. Definitely bright enough. Charging I assume will be easy. I haven’t had to charge it since I got it over a week or two.For my cattle dog 18inches tall 35 pounds got a medium. It big. I can use the med on my lab. She is 75 pounds English lab built stocky with a block head. I got her a large I have a feeling I will be returning the large and getting a small for the cattle dog.The med collar when using for him it’s double wrapped meaning I really did has to make it small for him. Still happy with purchase. Hope this helps.
I needed a light for our dark 5:30 pm walks, and after seeing someone in the neighborhood with one, I decided to go on a search. I went with this one and we are so happy! The light is bright and there are options if you want blinking or not. It has a rechargeable battery and it is very light weight. The size is a little big for my dog, but I am just using it for the light, so the size does not impact my review. It seems to be durable, and I have included a photo to show how well it works emitting light.
