🐾 I bought these Glucosamine chews for my (then) 1 year old 100+ pound Great Dane! He had been really stiff in the joints (especially in his back end) for a couple of weeks, and begun to whine as he would move around. Even as he got up and down, and even worse as the temperatures here began to lower. I thought at first it was from rough housing too much with his other dane buddy / companion that we also own, or just due to him being an overall lazy boy that doesn't do a lot of running around, and being the most un-athletic Great Dane that I've personally ever known- on a daily basis. He is a pretty chill boy from the occasional playing with the other dogs.🐾 I also want to mention that prior to trying these chews I had spent almost $600+ in veterinary bills to have him checked out to find out what could be going on with him when this all started, and we never could really come to one conclusion as far as why he was having so much difficulty in movement, and swollen joints at such a young age. (He was under 1 at the time this issues already began which worried me, but as you can see from the photos he is an extremely large Great Dane who has taken on the 'mastiff' look and genetics more so than the average Great Dane looks you get that are hidden within other breeds when it came to how society bred and came up with Great Dane breed!)🐾 I received the chews earlier this month (October 2024) and gave him 4 as soon as I opened the package, and for each day for the first week. Now, only 2 weeks later, he is no longer whining, or has stiff in his back legs and hips as he was before. He's been able to move around better, and get up and down comfortably again.🐾 Now, I know now that products like this will be a necessity for him daily basis due to not only his breed and the shear weight and size that he deals with, and the strain it puts on his joints, but also because I want to ensure that I give him the best quality of life I can offer him while he is alive! Now all three of our big dogs take a daily dose of these tablets! (2 Great Danes, and 1 German Shepard/Husky mix). So, I can say without a doubt I'm so glad I had to get them, and that I tried them out! Now everyone of the boys are taking this supplement daily!🐾 The chews came in an easy to open container, and were sealed inside an airtight bag for freshness. They are more dehydrated and a bit harder than other chews, so you have to be gentle not to accidentally crush them. The size is perfect for his breed and their needs. Sturdy enough that he simply thinks it's treat time. The flavor must be good, because my boy ate them up with no problem, and still does! I've not seen any issues as far as after effects as far as them being no good for his digestive system, so in other words he has had no issues when it comes to digesting them at all. I can already tell a difference in his energy levels and willingness to move around more!🐾 These are most definitely worth the money when it comes to the overall value and how well they work! purchased this item unsure if it would help my little dog out . I've seen so many different supplements for dogs that I was just unsure due to the fact . He has alot of allergies, and it cuz alot of skin issues. So I decided to try this . I'm very happy with it. He doesnt itch like he did. It' has his skin issues under control and it also helps with pain too. This stuff has been magic for my pup. She's a rescue that arrived at the shelter with a broken leg that had healed without being set properly. She wouldn't use it going down stairs and would start to limp if she was getting tired. I tried a whole range of supplements with varying effect. This one is the only one that has her running and walking as if she had no injury at all. It's wonderful to see. It's more affordable and (for us at least) more effective than other products that cost several times as much. The quantity of the active ingredients is significantly higher in each pill than other brands, so maybe that's part of it. I like that the "other" ingredients includes organ meats and other things that are good for her too. She loves them and thinks they are treats. Highly recommend!
We ordered these for our elderly huskie...15 years old. The tablets seem to help. Most importantly the readily eats them. She is a very picky eater.
My dog is very picky. They l9ve them. My Great dane has hip issues and seems to be helping her walk better. She hasn't had a limp in over a week. My 13yr old pekingese legs shake constantly and that has stopped also. Thank you! Ill continue to purchase these
This small heart shaped chicken flavored chewable tablet has helped mobility and pain relief for my two older dachshunds. They are both twelve years old and are moving slower with age. The smallest dog developed a limp that the vet nor I can’t find any obvious cause for. It appears to be in her shoulder and since she is not overweight I thought it might be an arthritic pain. After three weeks with daily use her limp is barely noticeable. Hope it disappears with continued use. Both dogs show an increase in energy without any diarrhea or N/V. I crumble these small chicken flavored tablets into their food. I keep the tablets in the aluminum bag that is inside the plastic container to hopefully prevent drying out of these chew tabs. I researched dozens of products to find the one that contains the highest doses of glucosamine, chondroitin, hemp, calcium and other vitamins and minerals. Many products contain just a fraction of the strength of all the ingredients but mainly glucosamine and chondroitin. I just ordered a double order to make certain to have some when product is not available due to being sold out. Great product, value (120 chewy tabs) and effectiveness.
Most reviews stated results in a week, but not for my girl. Even after 30 days no marked improvement. Value was ok and she liked the taste and they stayed pretty soft. May work for others, but just didn't for mine.
